A family name can cover more than one regional version. Read the complete model and the regional instructions, especially when the packaging looks similar. Hakko USA identifies its FX-601 kit and lists the tip and key supplied.

Compare tip width within a verified family

Hakko lists several T19 chisel widths for the FX-601. Compare the 2.4 mm D24 with the 5 mm D5 when the amount of contact you want is the main difference. Check the exact shape and code, especially where two similar-looking tips fit different irons.
