Match a grinder bit to the machine and edge

Choose the shaft and holder fit before comparing diameter, grit and included parts.

Identify the machine

Read the model before ordering. Inland's one-inch diamond head has a specific exception for the Wiz Mini. A 1-inch description can identify the working diameter while leaving the shaft fit unresolved.

Choose a diameter for the edge

Compare the abrasive circle with the inside curve you want to reach. A small diameter can reach a tighter part of an outline, while a larger face offers more contact area. The WizCG is supplied with two diameters, so see whether the included bits already address the job.

Check the grit and attachment separately

Check the stated grit for the surface you want to leave. TechniGlass lists Quick-Fit replacement sleeves separately from its holder. Confirm both the grinder and holder before buying a sleeve on its own.

Guide questions

Does the bit photo show all the included parts?

Look at the listing’s pack details for the holder, wrench or spare. A product picture can show a complete machine to explain where the accessory fits.

Where does the bit’s outside diameter matter most?

Compare it with the inside curve or notch you want to reach. Check bore and machine fit separately.

Should I keep the bit holder when changing grit?

Some systems use a reusable holder and separate abrasives. Use the maker’s fit list for that system before ordering.

Which accessory suits the job?

  1. The Inland WizCG includes two machine bit diameters for edge fitting. The Glass Polish 15104 is a hand pad with a broader flat contact face. Compare the reachable part of the work before choosing.

  2. Compare the original Inland equipment first. WizCG supplies two bit diameters. WizlingCG supplies a diamond bit, so check whether you need another diameter for your outline.

  3. The 3CF and 3CS share a 3/4-inch working diameter. Compare the 220 fine and 100/120 standard grades after establishing fit.

  4. Glass Polish supplies one pad in coarse 120 grit. EGOFIX supplies seven hand pads with different marked grades. Choose by the edge you can reach and the abrasive grades you expect to use.

  5. Compare 100 grit for coarser hand shaping with 400 grit for finer edge work. Check whether a block can reach the edge you want to work on.
